That night my father didn't come home till very late. My mother seemed to be worried about it, but she covered it up. The rest of my night seemed to be normal, normal enough to almost make me forget about the thing in PE. Almost. When my father did finally get home, I was already in bed. However, I was awake. I could hear my father and mother whispering in the living room. "She doesn't need to know, Robert!" "Honey, you heard the voicemail from the Coach!" I gasped, Coach Spangela had spangelated on the spangelation of spangelas! In other words, she told my parents what had happened! But what was my father talking about? What did I not need to know? Curiously, I stepped down the stairs and tried to eavesdrop. "She's too young, Rob..." "Diane, she needs to know. She's almost sixteen. It's time." I was slowly walking across the floor to better hear when I stepped on my sisters rubber ducky. "Hello?" called out my mother. I ran in my room, flipped into the bed and fake slept. The two were much quieter now and they soon went to bed.
*THE NEXT DAY*
As I was leaving for school, my father approached me. "I have news!" I sighd. "Yes?" "Im retiring from the agency." I blinked and stared at him. "Why?" "Wellll..." "Wellll?" I echoed. He took a deep breath an quickly replied. "Theywantyoutojointheagency." I blinked yet again, speechless. As soon as I found the words, I said. "Thats sounds.....FRICKIN AWESOME! Even though you were joking..." He bit his lip and stared back at me. "Oh...your not...joking?" I winced. Suddenly the bus pulled up and honked. "We'll talk about this later dad, I got to go." I yelled as I ran out to the bus.

From Biology to my second period, Global Studies, things were same-old. Then came lunch and here come the preps. "Oh look Ms.Freak. We heard you showing off in gym. This school is our turf, so keep your circus act at home." said Tara with Lola and Sheldon behind her. My first reaction was to attempt an aerial attack on her, but I was able to restrain. Sheldon laughed and kissed Tara's cheek. They continued to giggle. "Go. Away." I glared, clawing into the table. Emma (who was beside me) glanced down and saw the trenches I was causing. Her eyes grew wide and she covered my hands with hers. As she looked up into Tara's scowl, she growled, "Maybe you should leave." "Hmph" said Tara and they all walked away, again laughing. I sighed and let go of the table. Emma stared at me again worriedly. I looked at her. "What's happening to you?" She asked. I sighed agai and looked at the wood under my fingernails. I shook my head, biting my tounge. "I really don't know..."
